The Gilded Lily is a Roman and Williams-designed glamorous subterranean lounge. Under the original, very muscular steel canopy on 15th street, one can take a refurbished industrial elevator down to an underground lounge. The backdrop to the lounge is a pool, lined with golds and greens as though one has discovered a glittering dream, both modern and timeless.
With its sunken dance floor, luminous bar and custom circular seating, it is reminiscent of a sweaty, sexy, 70s New York party, elevated by beautifully crafted interiors that also recall a 1920s glitter, glamour and refinement. A sense of fantasy emerges, from the light around the gilded pool, opening up glowing, radiant world, where the possibilities are endless.
